Events and More Events

So the past couple of days, we have actually broken out of our shells and have been able to go and do things, as a couple, with no children. It has been alot of fun. We went to Doug Midkiff's wedding-one of Will's really good friends from growing up.

Lauren Barksdale and her husband and baby were there. She looks amazing and her baby is a doll!

First, we went to a Rangers game with some friends...Ana Marie and Micheal. It was really fun, i think I watched the game like twice because I was talking to Ana the whole time. She is so cute and open. Good girl. And, on top of getting valet parking, and $10 eack ticket, there was also a firework show afterwards. WHOO HOO!

Easter Egg Hunt at the Stockyards

Here is a VERY quick post, will write more later. In no particular order:

There was a huge line of people waiting to get into the petting area. We gave up and just went to the gate and started petting the animals that were by the gate. That was not Kensie's idea of a good time. She went and snuck in the gate by herself and was able to be with the animals-that dirty rat!

Hangin around

This goose was mad at everyone-it was honking and looked like it was going to attack someone. Kens thought nothing of it, started chasing it around, laughing!

Horrible pic of me, I no, but good of Camo and Will. I was half sick.

With cousin Dallin at petting zoo area.

Gab loved the ponies

The girls in the quad stroller!

Doll Face

3.06.2009

Okay, for real, times are a little crazy around here. Even though I feel like I never get anything accomplished throughout the week, I always manage to stay very busy. It makes a huge difference going from a 1200 square foot home to a like 4000 plus. Everything is more spread out, and seems like I am always straightening up, doing laundry, or other things.
So, random old post that have been sitting in my draft box. This is obviously from V-Day.

What is she thinking?

Um, has anyone informed Cambrie that she is only six months old??? This week Cambrie started pulling herself up against furniture and was standing! She is wild! Go Cambrie!

I put Cambrie on top of Gabbie and they were playing. All of a sudden, Gabbie says, "Mom, she's too heavy." It was great. Cambrie does weigh around 18 lbs, and Gabbie around 21 lbs. Gabbie was on her bed tonight, and all of a sudden starts cheering like a cheerleader, and says, while rolling her hands together, "Go Mary!" (like Mary, Jesus's mom). She is so weird. :)

Gabbie

To sum Gabbie up in one word....fireball. She is full of energy, her laugh is contagious. she runs like a little rag doll, flopping around everywhere. she loves chewing bubble gum. shes her daddy. Her smile is precious. She loves horses and calls them "forces." she loves Kensie and calls her "tintinton."(Kensington). She walks around on her tiptoes, saying in a very weird voice, "daddy, daddy"-it is hilarious. She had never met a stranger. she will walk up to just about everyone and say hello and want them to hold her and play with her.

Gabatron, one of her many nicknames....if she is in a bad mood, if you call her Gabbie, she will say, "i not gabbie, i gabatron!" it is so funny. she will also tell you not to do alot of things when she is grumpy, "mom, don't push me...don't say oh really....that not funny mom," the list goes on and on.

She likes carrying her purse around. She gets into Nonnie's makeup about once a day. Gabbie and Kensie both take about an hour to two hours trying to fall asleep for nap right now, it is a little insane. they will climb on eachothers beds and try to sleep together, which never happens, they just end up talking and getting out of control or biting, clawing and scrating the life out of each other.

If gabbie is doing something that she shouldn't be doing, all i have to say to her is, "Gabbie, Jesus is so sad when you do that." She almost immediately will stop doing the undesired behavior. What a little angel. She is so wonderful.

Kensie

Kensie...one word, drama. She is so fun but pretty much everything she does is drama. She fake laughs-it is hilarious! at dinner a couple of weeks ago, she starts fake laughing like crazy. everyone at the dinner table was laughing so hard. all of a sudden, will stops laughing and kensie instantly turns her head to Will, and has the most serious look on her face and says, "is that not funny?" lol.

we went to the rodeo the other day and i said to kensie "do you want to dress up like a cowgirl, and her reply "um, maybe a princess..."

When she is crying, if i am not paying enough attention to her, she lets me know by saying, "mama, i crying!"

she knows exactly what she wants and what color she wants it. And when she is making her mind up abut something she says, "um, a, um, a ummmm....that one."

She is so motherly with gabbie and cambrie, she will almost instantly get up andstart helping out if cambrie is crying.

She loves having friends, she wants everyone to be her friend. We went to the library on friday for reading time and pointed to a table that had random people that we had never met before and said she wanted to go sit with her friends. so cute.
